"University of Central Punjab Alumni
Association" has been formed to provide a forum for the members to exchange their experiences and knowledge gained at University of Central Punjab and to develop a community serving the socio-economic needs of alumni. University of Central Punjab Alumni Association endeavors to develop a relationship of mutual benefit between the University and its Alumni.
With nearly 12,000 alumni both local and world-wide, UCP alumni are not only a large family, but a powerful network of leaders, doers and influencers available to you and every fellow living around.
The UCP Alumni Council, the leadership group for the UCPIAN, draws upon the expertise and dedication of talented alumni from the University. The 27 members of the Council serve as an important voice to university leadership, and work actively to engage alumni in meaningful ways with UCP and with one another.
The UCP Alumni Association is committed to:
Service - UCPIAN members not only serve as advocates for UCP alumni, but also serve as ambassadors for the university and the alumni association both on campus and in our communities - around the world.
- Connection - By connecting more than 10 alumni networks, groups and alumni boards through the Alumni Leadership Forum, the UCPIAN brings together alumni leaders to advance our individual affinities and connections and to support "One UCP"that works for all.
- Engagement - Working with the Office of Alumni Relations, the UCPIAN provides opportunities for alumni to engage with the university and one another. From our Annual Dinner, which engages 1,000 alumni and students, to the Career Advisory Network to professional panels and affinity groups, our organization is committed to creating an alumni association that works for you.
- Excellence -We all benefited from a great UCP education. The members of the UCPIAN are committed to making that education available to many for future generations. We actively encourage advocacy and philanthropic support by all UCP alumni to ensure that today's UCP student - and tomorrows — continue a tradition of excellence.
The association organizes alumni homecoming
dinner every year. This year over 1000 Alumni
Attended the event with their families. Governor of the Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar graced the occasion as the chief guest, Mr. Sohail Lashari President Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Mr. Richard Weyers Director Punjab British Council and Mian Amer Mehmood Chairman Board of Governor UCP, as Guest of honor.
The role of the Alumni Office is to establish and enhance a continuing relationship between the University of Central Punjab and its alumni. There are more than 12,000 UCP alumni, of whom about one-third are based outside Lahore; this number is growing as the University accepts more other cities students at undergraduate and graduate level.
