Dean's Message

As the fast changing world is opening new avenues at the same time it is shutting down some of the old ones. The ever increasing competition is making it more and more difficult for individuals to find a suitable position in practical life. To survive in this rapidly changing world one has to learn to move with the speed of time. Keeping oneself updated is perhaps the only solution to grow or even survive.

University of Central Punjab is a very young university and it would not be wrong to say that it is still in its infancy stage. In such a short span of time this university has shown signs of rapid growth and it is quite evident that it has covered a long distance towards to the fulfillment of its goals. The quality of teaching faculty, infrastructure available, use of teaching and learning technologies and the right emphasis are a few of many strengths of UCP. The Faculty of Commerce of UCP is one of the pillars of the university. Punjab College of Commerce has earned its name in the market over two decades. This faculty is presently offering only master level courses in the field of commerce i.e. M.Com with specialization in Accounting & Finance and Banking.

In every course taught a strong emphasis is kept on those areas which are generally weak and which are important for better careers of students, such as practical exposure, in-depth knowledge, information technology applications and good communication skills.

The students are not only involved in academics but also take a keen interest in extra curricular activities. Stage dramas, carnivals and exhibitions are some of the regular activities.
