Society of Electronics and Telecommunication (SET)

The Society of Electronics and Telecommunication (SET) aims to provide rich learning opportunities to students of Electrical Engineering in the field of electronics and communication. It is primarily devoted to prepare students to handle the latest and technologically advanced equipment with confidence.  Students are also provided cutting edge computing facilities and resources to give them a better understanding of circuit problems through electronics simulation software.

SET publishes a quarterly magazine, targeted at alumni, to keep them informed about the latest the pursuits and engagements of the Faculty of Engineering as well as developments in technology around the world.

SET also organizes conferences. These multi-topic conferences provide a forum for the students to exchange ideas in a wide range of areas related to Communications, Computer, and Electronics Engineering.
