With the aim of promoting a culture that fosters the development of leaders and entrepreneurs, IDEAS “The Rising Spirit” Society For Encouraging The Practice Of Entrepreneurship, at the University of Central Punjab is working effectively for the last three years by providing a platform to students to experiment their creativity and to polish their leadership skills. In continuation of the previous vigorous efforts, University of Central Punjab is taking a step forward by organizing YES’12 “Youth Entrepreneurial Summit”-Converting Dreams into Reality-. UCP is pleased to invite you to this mega event that would no doubt provide the participants an opportunity to interact with the sparkling youth from all over Pakistan. UCP is hosting a three-day event from 5th - 7th January, 2012 under the Faculty of Management Studies.
University of Central Punjab, espousing its mission of providing quality education to the youth, focuses not only on imparting knowledge to youngsters but also developing professionals who can make some significant contribution to the society in any field that they aspire to enter. We believe in continuous learning and preparing our youth to face and fight the global challenges may it be managerial, socio-cultural, economic or political.
IDEAS at UCP believe that one can translate his dreams into reality through proper guidance and support. The greatest inventions around were once a vague idea; it is not only the personal conviction but also the right direction that enables a person to achieve laurels. IDEAS have directed all its efforts in helping the budding entrepreneurs and leaders to develop their vision and determine the right path. In the last three years IDEAS has successfully organized Ad galas, business plan competition, marketing week, industrial trips, Brand Wars, Reflection and tours, seminars and workshops. IDEAS has also established a project and case study bank that facilitates students in developing or launching a business plan.
YES ‘12 is an effort of IDEAS in collaboration with Student Council at UCP under the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) and the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI). The three days activity encompasses a series of challenging episodes such as business plan competition, Brand War, International Symposium and workshops conducted by renowned professionals followed by some recreational activities. Different teams from all over Pakistan would be taking part in this event, providing them an opportunity to recognize their potential and to translate their ambiguous ideas or theoretical concepts into practical ones. This experience no doubt will open for them new horizons and will inculcate in them the skills required to move ahead in this competitive and ever changing business world. UCP is looking forward to your keen participation so as to enable our nation to build a platform from where students can learn, share and carry forward their aspirations.
