Why Faculty of Law?
Academic Tradition of Excellence
The Faculty of Law holds a great academic tradition and has revolutionized the teaching of Law. The results partly reflect its excellence in legal academia.
Faculty of Law has adopted situation-based teaching in which students are placed in actual or simulated situations that require them to address a client’s problems, as would lawyers in practice. This complements the theoretical study of Law. Our L.L.B. (Hons.) program (UCP) is about much more than inculcating academic skills and training; it is a means of tying down abstract ideas, of learning how to focus and make use of ideas in confronting particular issues in real life.
Incentives for Students to Excel
In appreciation of achievement of academic excellence, students who secure first position or other accolades are offered various incentives including cash prizes and scholarships.
