Pro-Rector's Message

I feel pleasure in welcoming you to the University of Central Punjab (UCP), which has earned 'W' category from the Higher Education Commission, due to the untiring efforts of our committed faculty and our devoted students.

Presently UCP runs six faculties, namely, Management Studies, Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce, Arts & Social Sciences and Law.

We have recently moved to our new campus, situated in the scenic outskirts of Lahore. This imposing structure has all the facilities of a top class University. Apart from a well stocked library, modern laboratories and classrooms, it also has a state-of-the-art auditorium, swimming pool, gymnasium and a number of facilities for indoor sports.

Besides academic excellence, we lay equal importance to the co-curricular activities. A plethora of clubs and societies are available to enhance your skills through debates, dramas, sports and community service. Last but not least we also publish UCP Newsletter, a quarterly, which covers important activities and achievements of all the faculties.

Let me also thank my predecessor, Dr. Fehmida Sultana, now Dean Academics, for the efforts she made for the betterment & progress of UCP. Make the best use of your stay with us and contribute your full share to the glory of your Institution.
