On April 14, 2012 IDEAS Society hosted a one day workshop of IBA’s “Invent – The Entrepreneurial Challenge 2012”, a unique student level business plan competition at UCP. The event was organized to provide a platform to the students of different colleges and universities of Punjab to exhibit their entrepreneurial skills. The event was headed by Dr. Shahid Qureshi, Associate Director, Center for Entrepreneurial Development, IBA Karachi and Mr. Azhar Rizvi, Vice Chairman, MIT Enterprise Forum Pakistan. Moreover, entrepreneurs were invited to act as mentors for the assistance and guidance of participants.  The workshop involved a mix of both speaker sessions and hands-on training in elements of a business plan, executive summary and elevator pitch. Later, the groups presented their plans in front of the mentors and were evaluated accordingly. It was indeed a fruitful event in which young and enthusiastic minds with revolutionary ideas interacted with accomplished professionals.
