In order to
introduce the affordable books published by Pearson Education in Engineering, a
small meeting was arranged between the FOE faculty and Pearson representative
Mr. Abdullah. A detailed discussion on Pearson products and services was held
and the faculty was assured of complete support by publishing house. The
meeting also covered future faculty training programs, online education system
(My labs) and the faculty assured to help support PEARSON in fighting piracy at
the University. FOE stated that all
efforts would be made to eradicate piracy from the UCP and the students would
be encouraged to buy genuine books.
Pearsons also
presented 140 Complimentary books to faculty members of the two engineering
departments of UCP for their evaluation.
PEARSON plans to introduce
and offer their services to all the faculty of UCP in future.
