Message from Dean:
This workshop was an endeavor to create awareness among students about the Modern Techniques used by
organizations for selection. We invited guests from Telecom industry to act as Judges and to provide valuable insights into the organization’s perspective of what they are looking for.

Message from the Organizer:
The 2nd Assessment Center was another modest effort to equip our students with skills which employers
seek in job applicants. Today’s employers introduce new and new techniques for selection purpose. That’s
why we consider it vital to prepare our students accordingly. To have valuable suggestions on our effort,
we had guests from various industries especially, Mr. Kamran Mirza, who has worked as Recruitment Specialist at National Guard Hospital, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Workshops:
The modern world is for people who have the skills and know how to exhibit them properly. Mere knowledge
of any subject is insufficient unless you know the practical implementation of concepts. Now concepts evolve
and applications change. Thus, such workshops become vital to equip students with the latest techniques.
The Assessment center:
A multi-dimensional evaluation workshop to assess the competency in today’s dynamic and competitive environment.

Purpose of creating this environment is to boost passion and competition to excel others. In this regards, all the
candidates
were awarded with “Certification of Participation”. Successful candidates were awarded with“Certificate of Merit”.
The best two performers were honoured with “Shields”. It will give them a sense of
achievement and accomplishment.

Industry Response:
We had a guest Mr. Zeeshan from ABACUS Consulting. The purpose of his visit was to search suitable candidates
for jobs in his organization and he showed interest in our students which is a very healthy response on the
practicality of our Assessment Center.
