Transformation of Akhuwat into Bank

Faculty of Commerce University of Central Punjab conducted a research study to evaluate the performance of Akhuwat ( a microfinance NGO). Faculty of Commerce conducted a survey and then launched a report on the Impact that Akhuwat has made on the lives of people. After the completion of study the report was presented at two days workshop for the transformation of Akhuwat from NGO to a Bank. Prof. Malcolm Harper an international expert on microfinance from UK Addressed the workshop. Dr. Amjad Saqib, Dr. Izhar, Dr. Kamran, Prof Ahar Azim, Dr. Shahid A. Zia, Ayesha Malik, Humera Shaikh with her neice, Waheed Raza, Mr. Tariq Gondal, Raza ul Mustafa, Salman Ali Sheikh, Dr. Abdul Razzaq, Abrar Sb (NRSP), Prof Azfar Ali, Muzaffar Asad, Rehan Mehmood and Adeel Khalid were the participants of the workshop. The workshop was basically conducted for brainstorming for conversion of Akhuwat into a Bank. The session continued for two days.
