Admission Requirements


BS Islamic Studies (Morning/ Evening)

Eligibility

  • F.A., F.Sc., A-Level or Equivalent Degree
  • Applicants shall go through a test of written communication in Urdu and English and come for an in-house interview.

MA Islamic Studies (Morning/ Evening)

Eligibility

  • B.A, B.Sc., or Equivalent degree from a recognized institution

Applicants shall go through a test of written communication in Urdu and English and come for an in-house interview. The merit list shall be based on the following criteria: Matriculation, Intermediate, and Graduation marks (20%, 10%, and 20% respectively); Written Communication (25%); and Interview (25%). A candidate getting less than 50% marks shall not be offered admission.

MS Islamic Studies

Eligibility

There are two requirements to be eligible for admissions:

  1. BS Islamic Studies (4 years), MA Islamic Studies or an equivalent degree
  2. NTS, B category, with at least 50% Marks

Applicants shall go through a test of written communication in Urdu, English, Arabic and General-Knowledge and come for an in-house interview. The merit list shall be based on the following criteria: Matriculation, Intermediate, and Graduation marks (20%, 10%, and 20% respectively); Written Communication (25%); and Interview (25%). A candidate getting less than 50% marks shall not be offered admission.

Ph.D. in Islamic Studies

Eligibility

M.S. from any recognized university shall be eligible to get registered as a Ph.D. student must have passed NTS.
Applicants will go through written tests in Arabic, English, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Research Aptitude. In addition, an interview will be conducted before a decision on admission is made. However, a holder of UCP's BS and M.S. with CGPA of B+ and above will only need to go through a Research Aptitude test for admission in Ph.D. Islamic Studies.

BS(Hons) Economics & Finance

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have Intermediate Certificate in Arts, Sciences or Commerce from a recognized Board/Institution of higher education in Pakistan with a minimum of 50% score or A Levels with a minimum of C grade in at least two subjects from an English Educational System or the equivalent thereof from other foreign systems.  Candidates are also required to appear for an in-house written test, followed by an interview.  Those obtaining at least 60% marks in the test interview will be admitted to this program.

BS (Hons)

Eligibility

  • F.A, F.Sc, A-Level or Equivalent Degree (minimum 2nd Division)

BS(Hons) English

Eligibility

  • F.A., F.Sc., A-Level or Equivalent Degree
  • Minimum 2nd Division.
  • Minimum 60% marks in English and UCP's entry test.
