Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

The UCP MBA combines academic theory with real-life business case study analysis. It equips students with the awareness, knowledge, tools and techniques that are required for dealing with business challenges faced by organizations in Pakistan and abroad. The program offers a critical coverage of functional areas of business and management (finance, marketing, human resource management and supply chain management) which are essential for effective management. This forms the basis upon which advanced courses on leadership, business policy and strategy are introduced that prepare our graduates for strategic analysis of key concerns that are pertinent to business today. Understanding and leading business in terms of inclusion, environmental, cultural, social and economic sustainability is central to UCP MBA. These concerns and perspectives are explored both in global and national context with explicit intent to provide the state-of-the-art, relevant business education to our students to cater to the emerging needs of developing economy of Pakistan.

Eligibility and Admission Criteria

Students with any of the following qualifications are eligible for admission:

BBA (Hons)/BS (Hons)-Management/BPA (Hons)/B.Com (Hons)/BBS with minimum CGPA 2.5.

  1. BS (Hons) in non-business discipline with minimum CGPA 2.5.
  2. BA/BSc/B.Com with minimum 2nd division.

Requirements of the Degree

To ensure the same learning outcomes for above three distinct groups of students in terms of their educational background, different requirements of credit hours have been fixed in the light of the Roadmap of Business Education prepared by the Pakistan's National Curriculum Review Committee of Business Administration at Higher Education Commission. The credit hours & duration of the degree for these three categories and entry qualifications are shown below:
