Mr. Bilal Hussain is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Information Technology & Computer Science (FOIT/CS) at The University of Central Punjab. Prior to his appointment at The University of Central Punjab, He was serving as a Lecturer in the Faculty of Computer Science & IT at The University of Lahore. He received his undergraduate degree in Computer Sciences from COMSATS Lahore and from Lancaster University in collaboration with COMSATS, Lahore. After that he received his Master’s degree in Computer Sciences from The University of Lahore.
He has over 6 years of experience in Pakistan as a researcher, senior software developer, and technical lead both in industrial and academic settings. He has published numerous scientific papers indigenously from Pakistan, in the domain of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He is experienced in leading innovative research projects in Persuasive computing technologies and Affective computing.
His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, Deep Learning and Machine learning.
He has a wealth of experience in teaching/training cutting edge technologies and courses in theoretical and practical computer sciences at graduate and professional level.
