Maryiam Zahoor has experience of more than 3 years as a lecturer and researcher in reputed institutes of Pakistan. She has received her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering from Government College University, Lahore and completed her MPhil in Computer Science from Punjab University of Information Technology with specialization in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Her MPhil research was on person identification based on his gait using Deep learning in collaboration with a German research group for Pattern Recognition. Currently she is involved in the research of Place recognition and scene understanding. Her area of interest is Computer Vision, Machine learning, Visual Place recognition in robotics.
