Department of Basic & Applied Chemistry in collaboration with the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) organized the 1st Computational Chemistry Software Hands-On Training Workshop under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh. The day-long session led by Dr. Muhammad Perviaz provided participants with comprehensive training on five premium computational chemistry software tools: Gaussian, GaussianView, ORCA, Quantum Espresso, and Avogadro. These software packages were offered free of cost to all attendees for learning and practice purposes.
Faculty members and students representing leading institutions including FCCU, WCUF, UET, UoL, PU, and GCUL participated and gained valuable technical skills in computational chemistry applications through hands-on exercises and expert guidance, participants.
