On the second day of the festival, a panel discussion was held on the topic “Creative Challenges in Converting Stories into Screenplays.” The session was expertly moderated by Mr. Kamran Butt, a principal lecturer. The distinguished panelists included Ms. Amna Mufti, a renowned playwright, Mr. Hafeez Tahir, the former Executive Producer of Drama at PTV, and Mr. Muhammad Humza Yousaf, a Director of Photography, music video producer, and colorist.
In addition to the panel discussion, the event featured musical performances by Horeb Shams and Ghulam Shabbir, both students of FMMC, who entertained the audience with their talent. The event was skillfully hosted by Qaima Amir and Minahil Rauf.
The festival concluded with the distribution of cash prizes and souvenirs to the winners by the respected jury members, including Mr. Syed Urooj Samdani (Head of Department at Rashid Latif Khan University), Mr. Hafeez Tahir, and Mr. Humza Yousaf. The ceremony ended with an inspiring closing speech by Dr. Fawad Baig, the Dean of FMMC, who also presented shields to the distinguished guests.
This festival not only provided a platform for filmmakers and students to showcase their work but also added value to their lives by offering opportunities to interact with industry professionals, gain valuable insights, and be recognized for their creativity and hard work.
