The University of Central Punjab (UCP) successfully held its 3rd Science and Engineering Fest on January 21-22, 2025. The event, organized by the Faculty of Science and Technology and Faculty of Engineering, was a celebration of innovation, creativity, and talent.
The two-day event featured a variety of activities, including poster presentations, a Brain Fest, a pet show, a science circus, and math and engineering competitions. It gave students a chance to showcase their skills and learn more about science and engineering in a fun and engaging way.
Mr. Muhammad Yaqoob, Provost UCP and Engr. Usman Farooq, Director of MEP Solutions, were the chief guests and presented shields to sponsors and prizes to competition winners. He praised the participants for their hard work and thanked the organizers for putting together such a successful event. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Shad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, also thanked the students, mentors, and sponsors for their contributions and praised the organizing committee for their excellent work.
UCP is committed to inspiring and guiding students toward success in science and engineering, helping them compete globally. The FEST was a great example of this mission, sparking interest and ambition among the participants.
