6th Edition of Awaami Bethak, hosted by the ICC–UCP, focused on the theme “The Privatization of PIA: Its Benefits and Drawbacks for the Government.” The session was led by Dr. Arslan Tariq Rana, Head of the Economics Department, and moderated by Afifa Kamran Sheikh. Participants engaged in informed and meaningful discussions on the economic and governance implications of PIA’s privatization, highlighting policy challenges, potential benefits, and concerns related to public interest.
