Department of Microbiology from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FoST) held a seminar on “Challenges in the Eradication of Tuberculosis (TB) in Pakistan.” Dr. Sajid Qayyum from Shaheen TB Foundation and Dr. Faiz Ahmed Raza from Punjab TB Control Program delivered talks at the session. Furthermore, training sessions on phlebotomy, intravenous (IV), and intramuscular (IM) administration techniques were organized. A free medical camp was held for faculty and students to extend the event’s impact. Dr. Aatif Amin, HoD, Microbiology, Dr. Samman Ikram, and Dr. Saba Kabir made the event possible. Dr. Hafiza Rizwana Kausar presented shields and certificates to the guest speakers and organizing team at the ending ceremony.
