Islamic Guidance Club UCP successfully organized an enlightening event Conversing Islam on October 22, 2024. The event attracted an audience of over 200 participants.
The primary objectives of the event were:
1) promote understanding of Islamic teachings and it’s relevance in society.
2) to provide an open platform for dialogues and discussions about various aspects of islam, addressing misconceptions and questions.
3) to engage students and faculty in meaningful conversations about their faith and their application in daily life.
4) to present insights from knowledgeable scholars, offering research-based perspectives on islamic teachings.
The event features estemeed scholar Hassaan Ilyas, a respected scholar and researcher at Ghamidi Institute of Islamic Learning. His expertise captivated thought provoking questions and discussions.
The session was moderated by renowned public figure, Ex-CSS officer, and truth seeker Hamza Ali Abbasi.
The event significantly impacted the audience in terms of understanding islamic principles and their applicability, engaging more deeply with their faith, connect to renowned scholars, and questioning the queries and misconceptions about faith.
