Professor Peter Morey (University of Birmingham, UK) and Professor Amina Yaqin (University of Exeter) delivered an invited talk to the scholars of English literature and met with the faculty of English Department, Faculty of Languages and Literature, UCP on April 15, 2025.
Mr. Peter Morey’s talk explored the intersection of myth, reality and colonial legacy related to gender oppression in Kamila Shamsie’s novel. Ms. Amina Yaqin explored women’s struggle with reference to their situatedness in universal, transnational and local feminist discourses.
