Department of Basic and Applied Chemistry organized an educational visit for BS Chemistry and BS Biochemistry students to DG Cement Industry, Kalar Kahar, providing practical exposure to cement manufacturing processes, including raw material processing, clinker formation, and final product grinding. The visit also featured a session in the Quality Control Laboratory, where students learned analytical techniques for material testing and quality assurance, while industry experts highlighted environmental management practices, emissions control, and safety protocols. The tour enhanced students’ understanding of applied chemistry and its industrial applications.
