Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naveed, HOD, Biotechnology, FOST, led a training session on “How Machines Work for Genes” at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) as part of their Faculty Development Program. The session focused on combining machine learning approaches with gene analysis and bioinformatics research. Furthermore, it highlighted the relevance of interdisciplinary research in computing and life sciences, as well as UCP’s efforts in academic collaboration with international institutions.
