Prof. Dr. Sumera Zaib, from the Department of Basic and Applied Chemistry, was invited as a Keynote Speaker at the 14th Evolution’s International Conference on Education for Peacebuilding and Sustainable Development (ICEPSD-25), organized by COMSATS University Abbottabad in collaboration with Evolution (Pakistan). She delivered an insightful keynote talk titled “Managing Diabetes with Novel Drug Discovery: Challenges and Opportunities,” where she presented her groundbreaking discoveries of novel active inhibitors with the potential to enhance diabetes management by targeting multiple biological pathways. Her participation highlighted UCP’s commitment to fostering impactful scientific research and contributing to global discussions on health and sustainable development.
