Dr. Sumera Zaib, Head of the Department of Basic and Applied Chemistry, was the Guest Speaker at the National Centre of Industrial Biotechnology (NCIB) at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi. She gave a lecture on “Good Laboratory Practices” to postgraduate students, junior researchers, and faculty members.
During the session, Dr. Zaib explained the importance of following standard procedures in labs to ensure accuracy, reliability, and integrity in scientific research. She emphasized how these practices are essential for producing high-quality research, meeting regulations, and making the research applicable in industrial settings. The lecture also opened doors for future collaborations.
