Electric Vehicles (EVs) and the Future of Electric Mobility in Pakistan

The Supply Chain Club at UCP Business School, in partnership with the Suleman Dawood School of Business, recently hosted a thought-provoking panel discussion on the future of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and electric mobility in Pakistan. This event brought together experts to explore key topics such as the current state of charging infrastructure, grid readiness, government incentives to boost EV adoption, and the economic viability of local versus imported electric vehicles.

The panel featured esteemed speakers, including Mr. Ahmad Ammar (PhD Scholar, LUMS), Dr. Attique Ur Rehman (Assistant Professor, LUMS), Mr. Mehroz Pasha (General Manager, Plant, EVCON Volt Wheels Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Asif Ahmed (General Manager, MG Motors Pakistan), and Mr. Noman Alvi (General Manager, Plant, EVEE). The session, moderated by Mr. Salman Ahmed (Principal Lecturer, UCP), was an incredible opportunity to hear firsthand from industry leaders about the challenges and opportunities in advancing electric mobility in Pakistan.
