Faculty of Engineering organized final year project exhibition on July 30, 2024, showcasing over 40 innovative projects from the Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering departments. The event was inaugurated by Pro Rector Dr. Hammad Naveed and Provost Muhammad Yaqoob. They also toured the exhibition, engaging with students and supervisors. They commended the hard work and creativity displayed in projects such as, 3D printer, smart electrical bicycle, crop harvesting machine, 5-axis CNC milling machine, seismic modelling of structures and glove-mimicking robotic hand.
The exhibition attracted various industrial and academic visitors, who were impressed by the ingenuity of the projects and provided valuable feedback, further enhancing the students’ enthusiasm. UCP Alumni, Engr. Zain ul Abideen, COO of DS Group and Engr. Adnan Naseem, GM R&D TransfoPower visited the projects and expressed their appreciation as chief guest and guest of honor respectively. They also announced internships and job opportunities for UCP engineering students within DS Group & Transfopower, offering a significant boost to their career prospects. The speakers at the closing ceremony encouraged students to work on the commercialization of their projects and follow their entrepreneurial pursuits.
