Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) successfully organized the Faculty Industry Placement Program (FIPP) Post-Placement Presentations. The session featured Dr. Arslan Tariq Rana (FHSS), who shared insights from his placement at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where he contributed to IMF impact reports, SME growth strategies, and anti-smuggling frameworks; Dr. Muhammad Aslam Javed (FOST), who discussed his work at System Heuristics on AI-powered SaaS tools, chatbots, and automation systems, leading to joint research proposals; and Dr. Irfan Azhar (FOMS), who highlighted his placement at Vital Petroleum focusing on logistics optimization and ERP models. The event underscored ORIC’s commitment to fostering academia–industry collaboration, integrating real-world experience into teaching, and advancing innovation through strategic partnerships.
