Faculty of Science and Technology arranged an interactive orientation for students enrolled in various programs, ranging from MS, M.Phil. and PhD. The session aimed to empower new students by introducing them to academic resources, research opportunities, and an environment conducive to their successful academic progression.
The informative session was led by Prof. Dr. Akhyar Farrukh, Dean of FOST, who introduced students to the faculty’s diverse facilities and support systems. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high academic standards in research while ensuring academic integrity. Prof. Farrukh also highlighted FOST’s achievements and initiatives designed to enhance students’ academic journeys through seminars, workshops, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
In addition to Prof. Farrukh’s address, the Heads of Departments (HODs) from seven different FOST departments gave a thorough overview of ongoing activities. They showcased the rich academic experiences and skill-building opportunities that the faculty offers to students.
