The Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Central Punjab (UCP) organized an insightful panel discussion titled “Innovating the Future: Entrepreneurship in Science and Technology.”
The panel featured distinguished speakers, including Dr. Amina Rizwan, Assistant Professor at the UCP Business School, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology. The discussion was moderated by Ms. Sadia Zia, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Technology. The session brought together experts to discuss the dynamic connection between scientific innovation and entrepreneurship. Key topics included identifying commercial potential in research, prototype development, intellectual property protection, market analysis, securing funding, and successful market introductions. Mr. Yaser Awan, Director of Takhleeq, and Dr. Shahid Raza, Director of ORIC, also shared their insights during the event.
A highlight of the event was an engaging case study activity, where participants collaborated to identify challenges and propose innovative solutions.
