Faculty of Media and Mass Communication hosted a poster exhibition, organized by students from the Department of Film, TV, and Digital Media as part of their Visual Communication Design course on January 7, 2025. The exhibition, guided by Ms. Yakhshi Saleem, focused on helping students develop their graphic design skills. The project challenged them to reimagine iconic film posters, encouraging creativity and new interpretations.
The students brought fresh perspectives to well-known cinematic visuals, creating a collection of striking and original designs. This initiative not only enhanced their technical and creative abilities but also encouraged critical thinking and innovation in visual storytelling. The exhibition received a positive response from both faculty and peers, who engaged with the students about the techniques and ideas behind the posters. Dr. Fawad Baig, Dean, FMMC, praised the students for their hard work and creativity, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in their craft. This event proved valuable in fostering collaboration, artistic growth, and a deeper understanding of visual communication.
