Faculty of Languages and Literature hosted “Flowers and Film: From Japan with Love” in collaboration with the Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association and the Embassy of Japan, celebrating cultural exchange and Pakistan–Japan friendship. The event featured Ms. Ura Mamiko (Deputy Head, Public Affairs, Embassy of Japan), Dr. Ghazala Irfan (President, Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association), and Ms. Shaista Khawar (Ikebana Expert), and was organized by Ms. Sarosh Latif. It commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Khalid Manzoor Butt, and remarks by Ms. Mamiko, highlighting the importance of academic and cultural collaboration. Key highlights included Ikebana demonstrations by Ms. Khawar, a screening of the Japanese film Samurai Ninja, and the presentation of souvenirs along with Haiku Hues, edited by Ms. Latif, underscoring the spirit of friendship between Pakistan and Japan.
