The Faculty of Media and Mass Communication at UCP conducted a workshop titled “Fake Versus Facts: Tools for Modern Fact-Checking” for MS and MPhil students. Mr. Abdul Jabbar, Executive Producer at Suno News, led the session, where the themes of misinformation, fact-checking using AI, and verification tools were discussed. The session was arranged by Dr. Atif Ashraf, Head of Department, FMMC, and concluded with a note of thanks from Prof. Dr. Fawad Baig, Dean, FMMC. This workshop equipped students with the capability of verifying the credibility of information using AI.
