The Faculty of Media & Mass Communication arranged an industrial visit to Aik News for first-semester BS students. The visit was organized by Dr. Atif Ashraf, Head of Department, and overseen by Ms. Mariyam Idrees, Lecturer at FMMC.
The students were first introduced to Aik News and then taken on a tour of essential departments, including the Production Control Room, Programming Department, and the studio sets. Mr. Naveed Qaiser, Director of News, gave an insightful overview of these departments.
The students also had the chance to engage in an interactive Q&A session with the program hosts and production staff, which offered them valuable perspectives on the news industry. As a token of appreciation, Ms. Mariyam Idrees presented Mr. Naveed Qaiser with a souvenir from UCP.
