The Faculty of Media and Mass Communication organized a faculty development workshop titled ‘Misinformation, Media Literacy, and Fake News: How to Verify Facts.’ The session was led by Ms. Benazir Shah, Editor of Geo Fact Check, with Dr. Atif Ashraf, HoD at FMMC, serving as the focal person. Ms. Yakhshi Saleem, Senior Lecturer at FMMC, hosted the event.
The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of fake news, misinformation detection, and fact-checking techniques and tools. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A segment, where participants posed insightful questions.
