The Faculty of Science and Technology (FOST) hosted the final ceremony of the ASM-funded Research Proposal Competition, showcasing innovative projects from researchers across Pakistan.
Supported by the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), the event highlighted the creativity of young scientists. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Dean of FOST, praised their work and stressed the importance of research.
Cash prizes were awarded to the top researchers: Burhan Haider, Maryum Hamayoun, and Hira Akram (1st), Eeman Ali and Muhammad Faizan (2nd), and Fatima Asim (3rd). The event’s success was made possible by the organizing committee, including Dr. Salma Batool and Dr. Izzah Shahid.
