FOST held its 8th Faculty Meeting led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Dean FOST. Key developments included the launch of a foreign faculty exchange program, the creation of research groups on commercialization, and specialized studies in Aflatoxin and Genome research. The faculty submitted projects to NRPU and PSF and held workshops to enhance research capabilities. Seminars were organized on industry engagement, research commercialization, alumni networking, and international collaborations. New academic programs and short courses were introduced, expanding offerings. Faculty also participated in capacity-building sessions. Department of Food Science was named the best department, with Dr. Kanza Aziz Awan and other faculty members receiving a certificate.
