FOST's Participation in Pakistan Baking Summit 2025

The Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of Central Punjab (UCP) participated in the Pakistan Baking Summit ’25. Under the expert supervision of Dr. Kanza Aziz Awan, UCP students showcased their innovative bakery creations, gaining recognition for their creativity and expertise in food science. The team presented four unique products: Aloe Ginger Cust and Sunflower Butter by M. Awab, M. Azar, and M. Usman; Steve-Ajwa Brownies, which secured 2nd place in the Innovation Pavilion by Shawal and Javeria; and Gluten-Free Cupcakes by Areeba Junaid.

The summit provided an excellent opportunity for students to engage with industry professionals, exchange insights on emerging trends, and explore potential collaborations in food innovation. We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements and their commitment to pushing the boundaries of culinary excellence, and we look forward to further innovation and partnerships in the future.
