Prof. Dr. Hafiza Rizwana Kausar, Dean Faculty of Science and Technology, and Dr. Kanza Aziz Awan, Head of Department, Food and Nutritional Sciences, represented the University of Central Punjab at the World Food Day Seminar organized by the Pakistan Dairy Association (PDA) at Faletti’s Hotel. Held under the theme “Hand in Hand: Safe Food for a Better Future,” the seminar brought together policymakers, academia, and industry professionals to discuss the importance of food safety, sustainable nutrition, and dairy innovation in promoting a healthier future. The participation of UCP faculty members reflected the university’s ongoing commitment to advancing food science education, fostering academic-industry collaboration, and contributing to national dialogues on public health and nutrition.
