IEEE Student Branch organized a specialized technical workshop titled “Effective Use of Generative AI”, aimed at providing participants with a practical and interactive learning experience in Artificial Intelligence tools. The session was conducted by Dr. Nabeel Khalid, Head of the Computer Engineering Program and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering (FOE), and organized under the leadership of Mr. Muhammad Mubeen Hassan, Vice President of the IEEE UCP Student Branch and Focal Person for the IEEE Lahore Section Young Professionals Program. The hands-on workshop enabled participants to actively engage with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering using tools such as ChatGPT, with practical applications in academic research, coding assistance, and problem-solving. The event was attended by over fifty undergraduate students, faculty members, and IEEE professionals, and concluded with a formal closing ceremony attended by Dr. Rizwan Shad, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Fesal Toosy, Head of Department, followed by a certificate distribution ceremony.
