Faculty of Languages and Literature, in collaboration with CLE, KICS, UET Lahore, and the University of Konstanz, Germany, successfully hosted a talk on “The History of Light Verbs in Indo-Aryan” by Prof. Dr. Miriam Butt. The session explored 4,000 years of V–V complex predicates, revisited grammaticalization theory, and provided new insights into Indo-Aryan language structures. The event also fostered opportunities for research collaborations, international exchanges, and publications, reflecting a strong spirit of academic and global engagement.
