LabXpert 2025: Hands-on Training and Skill Development in Laboratory Instrumentation & Practices, organized by the Department of Basic and Applied Chemistry, continued with an engaging and informative session on the Freeze Dryer and Probe Sonicator, conducted by Prof. Dr. Sumera Zaib and Dr. Salma Batool. The session offered participants practical insights into advanced laboratory techniques, including sample lyophilization, biomaterial preservation, ultrasonic cell disruption, and nanoparticle dispersion. Attendees observed live demonstrations and learned to optimize operational parameters for improved efficiency and reproducibility. Prof. Dr. Sumera Zaib and Dr. Salma Batool emphasized the critical role of these instruments in modern biological research, material science, and nanotechnology.
