Faculty of Languages and Literature, in collaboration with the Forum for Language Initiative (FLI), organized a workshop on language documentation and archiving, conducted by Mr. Naseem Haider, Project Manager at FLI. The session introduced participants to the fundamentals of documenting and preserving under-researched and endangered languages, offering practical insights into data collection, archiving, and research methods. Faculty members, MPhil scholars, and PhD researchers actively participated in the workshop, which marked the first event in a two-part series aligned with UCP’s strategic goal of “Becoming a Globalized University.”
