Mechanical Engineering Department's industrial visit to Pakistan Railways Locomotive Shop

The Mechanical Engineering Department organized an industrial visit to Pakistan Railways Locomotive shop for the third-year students on May 13, 2024. This visit was a crucial part of their academic curriculum, aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
Students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, accompanied by Assistant Professor Engr. Taimur Qureshi and Lecturer Engr. Zain ul Abideen were given a comprehensive tour of the facility and explored various maintenance and work facilities of Pakistan Railways. They were briefed about the workshop’s machinery, quality control measures, and innovative solutions being used for locomotive engine upgradation and maintenance.
