Lahore, Pakistan – The NASA Space App Hackathon 2024 was successfully conducted at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) in collaboration with Airman’s Ground on October 5-6, 2024. This prestigious global competition challenges students to develop innovative solutions based on real-time data provided by NASA.
This year, the event in Lahore saw an impressive registration of over 500 participants. The hackathon provided a platform for students to tackle real-world problems with guidance from experienced mentors. Mr. Syed Asim Azhar Shah, Director of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), and Mr. Jawad Khan, Director of Student Affairs, were invited as mentors and judges, respectively. Their expertise and insights were invaluable in evaluating the projects.
Throughout the two-day event, mentors worked closely with the student groups, offering guidance and support as they developed their solutions. The judges rigorously evaluated the projects through detailed presentations and simulations, ensuring a thorough assessment of each team’s work.
