Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization successfully conducted the Faculty Industry Placement Program (FIPP) 2025 Post-Placement Presentations, highlighting UCP’s commitment to strengthening academia–industry linkages. Four faculty members shared insights from their industry placements: Ms. Shafaq Aftab and Ms. Nahan Iqbal (FOMS) at TTI Laboratories proposed HR initiatives including flexible work models and employee welfare programs; Dr. Shahid Nadeem (FOMS) at Indus Plus Textiles Ltd. presented recommendations on sustainability, renewable energy, and automation; and Mr. Naveed Ahmad Khan (FoLL) at Together (Growing Good Causes) emphasized workplace ethics, communication, and integration of industry-aligned language skills into curricula. The event underscored the value of hands-on industry experience in enhancing teaching, research, and student learning, reinforcing UCP’s focus on innovation-driven education.
