Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization, successfully conducted the Faculty Industry Placement Program (FIPP) Pre-Placement Meeting, where faculty members shared valuable insights from their recent industry engagements. During the session, Ms. Rabia Saleem and Dr. Ayesha Asif from the Faculty of Pharmacy (FOPS) shared their experiences at Masood Homoeopathic Pharmaceuticals, where they contributed to areas such as herbal authentication, microbial safety, production, quality control, and quality assurance, integrating GMP and GLP principles into their academic and research practices. Engr. Waqar Maqsood from the Faculty of Engineering (FOE) shared his experience at Vital Petroleum Ltd., where he worked on petroleum site construction, retaining wall design, and industrial safety engineering. The session showcased how industry exposure enriches curriculum delivery, strengthens research, and promotes collaboration, aligning with ORIC-UCP’s mission to bridge academia and industry through innovation and applied learning.
