The Faculty of Engineering (FOE) hosted the Zero Visit for the launch of the B.Sc. in Computer Engineering by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). The PEC visitation team was warmly welcomed by Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Shad, Dean of FOE, along with Dr. Fesal Toosy, HoD of Electrical Engineering, and Dr. Nabeel Khalid, HoD of Computer Engineering. A meeting led by Dr. Hammad Naveed, Pro-Rector, with university officials and visitation team members, included Mr. Sikandar Sethi’s presentation on the Punjab group, university hierarchy, infrastructure, and facilities. Faculty of Engineering then briefed the PEC team before a tour of academic and lab facilities related to the Computer Engineering program, assessing classroom readiness, facilities, and infrastructure to ensure they meet PEC standards. The visit concluded with an exit meeting with the Pro-Rector, Dean, and HoDs, where suggestions and key findings were discussed. This visit underscores UCP’s dedication to academic excellence and continuous improvement under PEC’s guidance.
