The PhD defense of Ms. Sadia Safir Tarar was held at FMMC on December 18, 2024, where she successfully presented and defended her dissertation titled “Relationship of Big Five Personality Traits and Motivations to Use Social Media.” The study, conducted under the guidance of Dr. Fawad Baig, Dean of FMMC at UCP, explored how personality traits influence social media use and the motivations behind it.
The external evaluators for this defense were Dr. Zaeem Yasin, Associate Professor at LCWU, and Dr. Saleem Abbas, Associate Professor at FC College University, Lahore. Dr. Noor Hayat, Assistant Professor at FMMC, served as the internal examiner. The session was convened by Dr. Fahad Anis, Head of the Department at FMMC, who concluded the defense with sincere congratulations to Ms. Sadia Safir Tarar for achieving this major academic accomplishment.
