Society of Civil Engineers (SOCE) hosted a session titled “PPSC Preparation: A Guide for Civil Engineering Graduates.” The event commenced with remarks from Dr. Kafeel Ahmad, Head, Civil Engineering Department, and Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Shad, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, followed by a presentation by the guest speaker, Mr. Muhammad Faisal Niaz, Assistant Director, Road Asset Management System at the Communication and Works Department on the roles offered by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), their exam structure and interview techniques. Mr. Niaz provided details on the departments hiring civil engineers, including the Communication & Works, Irrigation, and Public Health Engineering Departments. This session not only boosted the attendees’ confidence but also provided a clear roadmap for securing positions through PPSC.
